Youri and Yvonne De Jager

Youri and Yvonne have each had over 20 years experience in the hotel and restaurant business all around the world.

Their first experience of Courchevel and the 3 Valleys was an extended week over the millennium enjoying blue skies perfect conditions and the best piste party imaginable. They were hooked on the French lifestyle and so returned to Scotland to plan their escape.

 Moving to the south of France near Carcassonne initially, they renovated a village house and ran it as a Chambres d’Hôtes during the long hot summer months; but whilst the location was idyllic, they missed the snow and atmosphere of Courchevel. Chalet life became an integral part of their plan.

That was over seven years ago. Youri and Yvonne now use their wealth of expertise in running Chalet Valeriane and ensuring that all their guests have the most relaxing, yet memorable, stay with them that they can.

Youri will be your Guide around the 3 valleys showing you the best pistes, links and rest stops.

Whether you’re looking for a spectacular view for your picnic or a gourmet extravaganza, Youri will know just the spot.

Yvonne, can be found mainly in the office, taking care of all the administration and making sure your holiday runs seamlessly.

This year we are delighted they are returning to Chalet Valeriane and are looking forward to welcoming friends old and new.
